Zapdos is the legendary electric bird of Kanto, known for appearing during thunderstorms and nesting in thunderclouds. This Electric/Flying-type can create massive electrical storms and is said to control lightning itself. The card's "Thunderbolt" attack was incredibly powerful but came with energy discard costs. Zapdos' spiky yellow design and electrical powers made it the most aggressive-looking of the three legendary birds, perfectly embodying the raw power of lightning and storms.
