Moltres is the legendary fire bird of Kanto and one of the three legendary birds alongside Articuno and Zapdos. This Fire/Flying-type is said to appear when volcanic eruptions occur, and its flames can melt almost anything. The card's "Wildfire" attack could spread fire damage across multiple Pokemon. Moltres' brilliant orange and red plumage and association with volcanic power made it one of the most visually striking and thematically powerful legendary Pokemon cards.
